New generation of fast-cure resin flooring
Fast-curing resin floors from the Flowfast Plus range, based on proprietary, advanced acrylic binder, combine lower VOC content (below 140 g/L) with a less disruptive application process compared with traditional methyl methacrylate (MMA) floors. Their rapid installation and curing help keep facilities operational while the flooring works are carried out, minimising downtime.
Flowfast Plus range is ideal for indoor applications and refurbishments, even in sensitive Food & Beverage environments, where people continue to work and occupy adjacent areas, enabling fast installation with minimal impact to day-to-day operations.
Fast Installation with Minimal Disruption
Flowfast Plus enables flooring works to be completed with minimal disruption to the day-to-day functioning of the facility: under typical application conditions at 20°C, the floor can be walked on after just 1.5 hours and is ready for full traffic within 2–3 hours after application of the last layer.
The materials are safer to transport, store and handle on-site compared to traditional MMA systems, making them particularly suitable for occupied buildings that need to remain in use during application. International HACCP certification confirms the suitability of Flowfast Plus for use in food processing environments, where hygiene, safety and minimising the risk of product contamination are key considerations.
Fast cure
With the fast-track Flowfast Plus system, flooring works can be completed quickly, from surface preparation through to installation, helping to keep downtime to a minimum during renovation or fit-out projects. The range is designed for use at live sites, provided that the application is properly planned and the work areas are appropriately secured.
Good wear resistance
The floors from the Flowfast Plus range have the same high resistance to mechanical use as the traditional fast-curing MMA-based range. The systems remain durable in high-traffic public buildings, like retail stores and shopping centres or busy transport hubs, when subject to both intense foot and wheeled luggage traffic, and industrial facilities with forklifts operating on a daily basis.
Less disruptive application process compared to traditional MMA systems
Flowfast Plus, with similar performance to traditional MMA systems, is less disruptive when applied, in terms of lower VOC content and lower odour. The features are beneficial for investment projects where fit-out or refurbishment flooring works need to be carried out with minimal impact on day-to-day operations, with people living, working or walking around.
